Our Mission
To provide women returning from incarceration with the tools, resources, and support they need to successfully reintegrate into society — breaking cycles of trauma, poverty, and recidivism through love, accountability, and empowerment.
Our Programs Include:
• Transitional Housing
Safe, stable environments that allow women to focus on healing, personal growth, and building a strong foundation for independence.
• Job Readiness & Career Development
Resume building, interview coaching, skill certifications, and partnerships with local employers ready to give women a fair chance.
• Counseling & Mentorship
Faith-based counseling, peer mentorship, and trauma-informed care to support emotional healing and self-worth.
• Financial Literacy & Life Skills
Training on budgeting, credit rebuilding, time management, and household management — essential tools for sustainable success.
• Faith & Purpose Empowerment Workshops
Weekly sessions centered around spiritual growth, confidence, and rediscovering identity through faith.
Life After Lockup
is a faith-driven reentry and empowerment program by U Turn by Faith for Women, Inc., designed to help formerly incarcerated women rebuild their lives with purpose, confidence, and stability.
We believe no one is defined by their past. Every woman deserves a second chance — a chance to rewrite her story and walk boldly into a new chapter filled with faith, dignity, and opportunity.
